Church School (Sunday School for Church Youth)

• Develop and implement Christian education opportunities.
• Hire and/or recruit leaders.
• Periodically review existing curricula, search for and evaluate new curricula, and/or oversee revisions of existing curricula.
• Support the leaders in recruiting teachers.
• Support teacher training.
• Act as a resource for teacher requests and issues.
• Support the planning and production of special events, e.g. the Christmas pageant and Children’s Sunday.

Youth Programs (Older Youth and Teenage)

• Develop and implement Christian education opportunities.
• Hire and/or recruit leaders and adult volunteer assistants.
• Support the leaders in program development and focus.
• Act as a resource for youth requests and issues.
• Oversee development of Confirmation Program.
• Support the planning and production of special events, e.g. youth-lead and intergenerational worship services.

Adult Education

• Develop and implement Christian education opportunities.
• Hire and/or recruit program leaders.
• Periodically conduct needs identification.
• Act as a resource for seminars, Bible study, and adult retreats.
• Promote participation.

Paid Leaders

• Evaluate performance annually.
• Submit salary recommendations.

Budget and Annual Report

• Form and submit an annual budget that includes all programs.
• Produce an Annual Report of activities.
• Provide an accounting for all funds, monies, and accounts.
