Our Church Programs

Church is a lot more than Sunday morning—though that hour or two can contain a lot! While worship is at the center of our life together, it cannot stand alone. We teach our children and youth, and keep learning as adults. We care for and support those within our faith community in many different ways. And we reach out to serve the wider world on our doorstep and around the globe. Sometimes we begin by asking what will meet our own needs. And often we find ourselves then responding to a nudge to reach beyond ourselves to help others.

We are an active church and there are dozens of ways in which folk can get involved in our church life and programs. A detailed listing of all our programs can be found under the following headings:

In addition to all the listings on these pages, about 60 church members serve on our official boards, helping to keep the church running smoothly and planning for the future. (Their duties are described in the Organization section.)
